Second gear slips

I´m having some trouble with my transmission. My bike fires up and runs fine but second gears slips. First works fine but every time I shift into second it slips when I hit the throttle. I´ve taken the motor out and inspected the gears, so far they all look fine (no chipped or worn teeth, etc.). Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks.
