Leak from breather on the final drive, Why?

I rode this bike for a few weeks and looked at where the shaft goes to the back and there was aleak from the breather at the top and there is not too much fluid in there. Should I put thicker fluid or replace the breather, but it has no threads and I dont know what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated
