I can get the other (2) to fire by switching the coil leads which means both coil work. I´ve checked the pulse coils on the crank stator and they seem to ohm out per the Clymer procedure. It´s got to be the ignitor or the pulse coils. I´ve been told the pulse coil can check OK but still can be bad?? ...and someone told me the ignitor fails completely, meaning no fire??? I´ve checked the continuity between the pulse coil and the ignitor connector and the also between the ignitor and the coil connector. What do you guys think?? Once I decide on what to replace I´d like to go with new parts since used would be 26 years old and electronics that old need replacement anyway.
