I just bought the bike and I love it. It only has 12,000 miles and was a good deal- now for the problem: the second time I took it for a ride the speedometer stopped working. I checked and the cable is tight going into the instument panel so its not that. When I loosened the cable from the back of the panel I was able to pull the cable out of the sheath and then slide it back in. It had plenty of grease on it and slid back in no problem. Is it supposed to be attached to the drive assembly on the front wheel or is it okay that it pulls out? It did not appear to be frayed on the end that goes down to the wheel. Any input you guys have would be appreciated. I could also use a bulb part # for the instrument panel. Thanks again and ride safe .
