thanks for the reply. i´m back in the usa now and i had another question. i think my aux.lite switch is bad. i´ve checked fuses, etc. and tried hunting down the wires from the switch to the lite. the lite is good. where i can i get a new switch for the aux lite and what´s gonna happen when i take the multi-function switch(aux switch, start switch, stop switch) housing apart? is it gonna fall apart like a thousand pieces internal? also any problems with vacuum leaks? i have a couple of lag-pause spots between idle and 3000 rpm. gonna have a good mechanic look and check my valves and timing and carbs. i have done the rust removal job and sealant on my gas tank, and put on an in-line filter. i have changed the tail pipes. they are aftermarkets. the others rusted out down toward the bottom from condensation. factory ones are too damn expensive. any help would be a appeciative. robin
