Lyle and StealthViper There are Oil Separator Gaskets that could fail that would allow oil to enter the breather path. they are attached to the gear selecter cover. "I Think" that there maybe something else too, like the pressure relief valve (bolt that holds the filter on) or extra blow by of the rings. Many little problems add up to big problems. So if you replace the gaskets ,or if they are still good,and it still leaks just go down the routine checks. Lyle as far as the gas leak the mos likely culprit is the float needle in the float bowl. It may be worn out or the float level maybe out of wac. Hope this helps.
