Get your self a motor manual. Haynes has one for our bike. and Clymer has one for the Maxim which uses the same engine. You will have to crack the lower case open . but the hardest part I think will be getting the engine out of the frame. It is what makes up most of the 500+ lbs of the bike. fortunately one big problem with this trans is the inner workings of the shift pedel. If your bike ever tipped over on the left side the shifter gets bent on the out side as well as the inside. what is commenly recommended is to hammer it straight again.
