I just bought an ugly looking shed monster for $300. It happens to be a 1981 XS 850. Despite being covered in dust and having the beginnings of suface rust on the gas tank and some other parts. I paid the $300 because this bike has only 3900+ miles. You can tell it is accurate by several things. But in any case. I have not tried to start it yet. I was told it had run in the last year. Has anyone ever come across one with this low milage? Do you think I got a good deal?
