i got a 79 roadster xls 1000 for about 1200 bucks from the guy who did his own work and hiss own stickers i got about no money so im trying to get it to where i don´t get pulled over leaving the drive way. looking to try and swap the headlight out for something led but once i got it apart and saw how all the wires are run through it that looks like it might be more than i got the knowhow for. there´s no blinkers on the thing at all totally striped not even a box for them and a lot of exposed ends for electrical cables that were just cut away. no horn either. brakes are good runs fine might be a stator/rectifier issue as i have to throw it back on the trickle every couple weeks as the engine isn´t producing enough power to chare the battery. so looking to fix my power issue and modernize a few things for ease of use without affecting the classic looks of it to much. thanks for your time! any advice is welcome.
