I´m not sure I understand what you mean by pull down your battery. If you mean the motor turns slowly when you hit the start button, then the problem could be that your brushes are nearly worn out in the starter. Another answer might be a weak cell in the battery where the starter doesn´t get the full voltage necessary to turn the starter over at full strength. In the later case, start with a battery with a full charge of 12 plus volts.
