Buying a CM400T |

I´m looking at buying a 1980 CM400T. New tires, and battery. The only thing I noticed is there is a small amount of oil being forced out from the top (head?) gasket. Is this a sign of impending doom, or something a skilled bike tech could swiftly mend (at a minimal price)? Also KBB says it´s worth $800, but the motor sounded solid, and although it´s not in cherry condition, it certainly isn´t in bad shape aesthetically. Thanks in advance for the responses! |
