$1000 ! Definitely. I have a 1979 CX 500 C, and the only problem I can think about at this stage is maybe replacing a few ornaments (old age). This bike is extremely stable on the road, has an aweseome acceleration and can carry two on the open road easily. The shaft drive is smooth and problem-free. Everything, as usual, depends on how the former owner treated the engine and all. Otherwise, that´s the usual price for that bike. I paid mine exactly the same price and it runs like a dream. An excellent alternative to those cheap 125cc cruisers they sell at the same price for new - except nobody will remember them in 25 years´ time.
