The CB 650 would be a reliable comuter bike, but after that much storage time it would need a lot of attention to get it on the road. Last year I took mine out of storage and had to spend over $2,000 to get it road worthy. At $1,500 the bike is not a good deal in my opinion. I traded mine for a new VT750T and all I got on tradin was $2,000 almost exactly what I spent fixing it up, so in essence I gave them the bike. With the storage time on the bike it will probably need new tires, battery, rebuild the carbs, etc. I would look around a bit more, check dealerships and ask them to contact you when A bike comes in in your price range. Regards Ed
