hey guys, hows it going? i´m new to the group and i own a 1980 honda cb400t hawk. i bought it from my boss for 250 dollars. when i bought it, there was a vetter fairing, a luggage rack, a sissy bar and side grab bars, and high rise handle bars on it. basicaly it was a mini gold wing. since then i have stripped off all the bogus, changed the bars to upside-down 1.5 inch risers, bored it out to a 410, replaced the tires, added a lockheart phillips cafe 1/4 fairing, recovered the seat and i have begun the repainting process. the future includes finishing the paint(obviously) a 2-into-1 open exhaust, rearsets, k&n cone flters on the carbs, removal of the airbox, and possibly a solo seat. tell me what you think and if you have any advise, it would be greatly appreciated. thanks, -cafe mike- |
