I just inherited a 1980 CB650 Custom with 8000 miles. It´s very dusty but in really good shape. It has not been started for many years, yet the oil is very clean, plugs look good, air filter looks new. I´m guessing it was very well taken care of. I´m going to replace the battery tomorrow and see if it cranks. However, one obvious problem seems to be that the throttle is stuck. I don´t think it´s the cable, but rather something to do with the shaft that opens all of the carbs. Can anyone suggest anything I should be looking at?? Thanks, Rick |
