1980-CB650C.......Vacuum leak Question? |
Rick S said 2011-05-10 00:12 |
As found: Ran great, but with half choke only, knew carbs needed work, clean-up, and/or parts replacement. Work done:Completely cleaned up original carbs, air intake, changed oil & plugs, new manifold rubbers on carbs to air and engine, new battery, and new tires and brakes. NOTE: (Did not change any parts or adjustments to carbs) Trouble: Idle fluctuates hi & low now. Ran great before, but with 1/2-choke! Question: Any vacuum hoses which may be possible cause? And, if so how many are on the bike and how routed. Further, if not hoses or manifold rubbers, what then unless back to carbs? Have not spent that much time with this bike yet, but hope to, it looks almost brand new, very clean, but somebody did put 21K miles on this one. Help??? Thanks, Rick |
