I guys,
Forgive me for my english, I´m from Canada, Québec. I own my Classic for 17 years now. It stills run perficly well and it´s original at 97% (new black paint with air brush gold stripping on the side covers and chromed mirrors), the rest is all original. I use it only for 200 to 300 km per season. I did alot of shows with it and won few trophees. It´s a great bike and reliable to. It has 50 472 km on the odometer. Here in québec there´s only about four or five of these still running and in good shape. I have a second one for parts. The injection system is still doing a great job. I also bought a bran new ZRX 1200R last summer and I´m very pleased with this bike too. I have also a KZ 1100 1981 and Gpz 550 (restoration projects). I sold my KZ 1000 shaft 1979 fully restored last summer before buying my ZRX,.. can´t keep them all you know!!! Please lets stay in touch I´m glad to know that other bikers can appreciate a KZ 1000 G1 Classic like i do.
