I am changing the oil in the 1980 750 GSX that I recently purchased and 6 quarts of oil came out of the drain plug. When the bike was on the center stand, the oil level window indicated that it was over-filled. Now that I´ve put in four quarts of fresh oil, it appears to be slightly over-filled until I run the bike on the center stand. With the engine running, the oil level drops to the point where it looks as though it´s way too low.

Can anyone tell me what the true amount of oil should be for this bike?
