Hi i bought my Gs-850 three yrs ago and it was in moderate condition with 12,000 mls on her, i have now done very little work on her except change or modify my exhausts (kept them as twin sided as i have seen mods to one side only and dont like) had front pipes re-chromed and its in three pieces general silencers bought and fitted, looks great but sounds a little different, cost 500 pounds (expensive) love the bike as so reliable and chunky, always cleaning the bike (red) and she always looks good and i love it to pieces, 14,000mls on her now but dont ride her too much as i work overseas but i take her to the once a year classic bike show in Hexham Northumberland and go on the 30ml classic bike ride (100)bikes, the highlight of the year, and when they say nice things abt my bike ime happy.J.J.
