Hi, once you have removed the sump plug and drained the oil the sump plug, clean the thimble size guaze in white spirit and the paper filter in the side case. Fill the engine with 1.3 litres, up to half to three quaters up the window with the bike onlevel ground, I use castrol high millage 15W40 oil.
The paper oil filter has a bleed screw, just leave if off for say 10 seconds after the engine starts then oil should come out of the hole, bolt the screw in ´easier said than done´, the head also has a bleed screw,same idea.
If the engine has not been run fro some time then the carb will need a clean out. pete
