I just purchased a blast from the past!! 1980 xt 500 Yamaha one owner (before me)with 1500 original miles from California. I sent the bike to west coast motorsports for all new fluids and everyone there was so impressed at its originality and low miles the only thing needed was new tires (originals were on it with like new tread but had some cracking due to being 33 years old)so it was simple tires tubes and clean the carb and general checks and shes like new original condition!! I thought I may have paid a little to much for it but after a short ride WOW!! An almost new bike from 33 years ago. I paid 4k for it and put another 380 in it and would almost challenge anyone to have such an original BLAST FROM THE PAST in such new shape. thx Ray
