First bike need help

hey my name is brent i just got my first bike from my step father and i need some help on where to find cheap parts and really all about the bike... if anyone can get back to me or just a little peace of advice. My bike is a 1980 yamaha sr500 it is all original and needs just some work. new head new muffler the works... it ran last a few years ago and i want to try and keep it all stock and in good condition. the thing really looks good only thing that has ever been changed on it is the seat apolstry. Again my name is brent and my email is brentsteck@gmail.com if anyone out there can give me some help or try to give me advice i would gladly appreciate it.
