Where is master fuse?

I recently bought my first motorcycle, 1980 Yamaha xs400 special II, and it was running fine other than a dying battery. The other day after riding it up and down the street learning to ride I turned it off but when I turned the key on in the ignition I have no power. NO lights go on and the bike will not start. I tried a new battery but still nothing. I think the master fuse might be blown or I might need new spark plugs. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.
