Hey Gary,
Adjusting the idle is simple. Standing on the left side of the bike (either side works, but it´s easier from the left), if you look below the gas tank (above the cylinders) you´ll see a nob about 1/2 inch in diameter. You´ll need a fairly long pair of pliers (needle nose will work). I don´t remember which way is which, but that´s what you use to adjust the idle. You´ll want to have the engine running while you´re doing this. after adjusting it a little bit you´ll want to rev the bike and let it settle to see where it actually idles. aim for between 1200 and 1500 RPM.
