Electrical/Signalling Problems

Hi All- My turn signals are driving me crazy. My bike battery is not staying charged and needs to be recharged about every 150 miles, annoying - so I just replaced the battery. However, even with a new battery I´m still having the same problem. When the battery is fully charged the turn signals work properly, i.e. they blink turn on/off properly. Within about 50 miles of ride time they stop working properly and simply stay on unless I cancel them. It may be the battery charging system has failed. any ideas on troubleshooting this problem? Also, the headlight relay failed so it is bypassed - which means the headlight is always on. Any thoughts are welcome. Thanks. Gus (abrams, wi)
