I have a Yamaha xs850.
The displacement= 825 cc / 3cylinders = 275 cc per cylinder
A Yamaha xs1100 has a
displacement= 1100cc / 4cylinders = 275 cc per cylinder

Could I use the carburetors from a xs1100 on a xs850 because the cylinders are the same size? Does that mean the carb jets are about the same?

If I am right would all I have to do is increase the idle speed because there are less carbs on the Yamaha triple?
