I bought my ´79 Sporty in ´81. It is the %&#!¤ Sportster-1/2 AMF & half H-D. It is an iron-head. Good luck finding parts. Even back in ´81 I had to go after-market for pipes. I believe it is worth alot to a collector of ´unusual´ motorcycles because of its´ 1/2 & 1/2 status. Rode the hell out of mine. Vibrates like a bi*ch-but because I was a 21 yr. old girl, I didn´t mind......now at 51 it is a little much on 2,000-3,000 mile rides! If you want to sell any original parts (I need the tach & speedo & the oil cover) e-mail me! Hope you love yours as much as I love mine!
