Hey Out There,
I just bought an XL 500s. Bike was represented as having less than 10,000 original miles. Negotiated over the phone (a couple hours drive from me) and the guy seemed legit, had a great story about how his brother-in-law drove it too and from work and then he got it and it sat in his garage. Everything sounded correct so I took a chance, negotiated the deal and sent one of my less than brilliant minions to pick it up (O.K. that wasn´t the brightest move on my part - I guess that makes me less than brilliant too). Low and behold the odometer and speedometer were broken (as was the speedo cable)and dispite being represented as \\\\
