I have a ´79 CM185 and I had to remove the magneto flywheel to change a leaking seal. After taking it apart, I realized I forgot to note the connector for the points. I am putting it back together now, but I don´t remember how the wire is run for the points electrical connection. There is a single lead that seems like it should be the connector for the points, but it will have to run in between the contacts for the magneto to reach out to where the points are. Is this right? Its a stupid question and a stupid problem to have, but I´ve had a head injury and can´t remember **it!! So any HELPFUL suggestions will be appreciated!
