There ainĀ“t no such thing as a Honda CBX500. A Honda CBX, to the best of my recollection, was a 1000cc, inline 6 cylinder with chain drive. A CX500 is a 500cc, transverse twin with shaft drive. In 1979, there was the standard CX500, the CX500 Custom, and the CX500 Deluxe. The Custom used a smaller gas tank than the others. In my opinion, the only thing that affects the value of the three varients is mileage and condition. Others may disagree.
