Hehehe.. AJ, the problem isn´t your carbs. I just answered a posting (oil filters) and explained a bit about what that problem is. It´s an inherant thing the just happens because of the engines configuration. The only way to kill that problem is port your heads, and go for WAY larger diameter headers like I´ve done/doing with my `79 500 Custom. Go to ANY exhaust shop and they´ll bend ya up a set of headers pretty cheap. Just REMEBER, keep the flanges! You´ll need those to get the pipes to seat into the heads right. The OTHER thing I can suggest if ya don´t wanna go that far with your bike, is to get a pair of carbs with accelerator pumps.IE: MOST CB´s..CB400,CB500..Some carbs will fit right on,some will need a lil tweeking of the linkages.
