Thanx Ed, You seem like a cool guy and ya know what you´re talkin about. So people, listen to him if ya need help or info. :D LOL Thats harsh about the clutch cable man! I had my clutch let go this summer, it was an effort to push it up the 1/2 block and complex lane way (uphill) ARGH! (:( Thank god you were close to home like I was. LMAO I think the WORST thats happend to me was the right intake vaccum check screw fell out when I was down at the lake on a side road. I had to get my passenger to put a finger on it for me to start it and get into gear, so I could hold it while tryin to drive home. THAT was an experience! It says a lot for the CX´s balance though, I rode from Pt.Bruce Ont. to Ingersoll hanging off to the right. (right hand-gas, left hand pluggin intake)LOL It drove straight as a pin though. and YES, you can speed shift CX´s people. Honda has the toughest tranny´s my buddies and I have seen/had. What other bike (other than CB400 Honda) can ya drop into FIRST gear at 80-90 Kph and it just screams and goes skittery for a sec..LOL??? ;D (-- NOT recomended for new riders!! Have fun guys keep on ridin those CX´s! ~The Ghettoman! ;D
