Anybody out there know any tricks to adjust the front brake lever so that it makes contact with the front brake light switch? I just bought at 79 cx500c and thought the switch was bad but after fooling around with it for a bit I discovered that the problem is that the end of the brake lever isn’t making contact with the switch plunger when the lever is released. As the lever appears to be cast aluminum I am reluctant to try to “adjust” (aka bend) the end of the level for fear that it will snap off and leave me with another problem.
