Buy the book: Guzziology by Dave Richardson, very helpfull.

For your bike, check the battery/alternator: the wattage is a bit under the need. If you have a 55-60watts headlight instead of an 45-50, you´ll see that the indicator-needle is always in the minest zone...so keep your battery healthy. You can buy a DEKA powersports battery No. ETX16L, or SP40 Interstate, good spark plugs wires and iridium spark plugs (BPR6EIX). Take care of the false neutral between the second and third speed. Buy a deep sump with external filter. See MG CYCLE for parts...Have a nice ride.
