My name is Greg Johnson and I have been a proud owner of a 1984 gpz900 A1 since September 9th 1984 and I have put every mile on her a little over 100,000 miles together I know the bike inside and out the only rider and the only mechanic has been me What a Bike. Anyways I had a rattle I was having trouble finding so I pulled the engine to inspect for what sounded like a cracked piston skirt and no cracked piston still look brand new what I found was a bent rod on no3 cylinder it must of hydro locked at some point for this to happen waiting on parts to put the ole girl back on the road my point is this has been one hell of a trouble free ride and a great machine just wondering if anyone else has that many years or miles on the original NINJA
