Hey bro, I too just came in possetion of a 1984 vf1000, I need to find someone that has the diagram or knowledge in rebuilding the starter. I have the kit but no blue print on it, if not I am sure I can figure this one out. I wread your wanted parts, try ebay, seen alot of things on there, holla back if you have a diagram of the starter rebuilding project I need to do ok, thanks and talk to ya soon anytime aight, ride safe.
