I have a 83 vf 750 f which I have been rebuildnig. It had the worn cam problem, so I have drilled the main oil gallery to allow for braided lines to the heads when it is assembled.
I have noticed a problem also with the clymer manual. Although I have checked and re-checked the setup of the cams, the timing makes no sense. I have noticed that the cam has more valve clearance at approx 20 deg BTDC than at TDC where the valve clearance is set. Any ideas?
