Bought mine used about 3 years ago. 15 years old & only 45,000Km on it. Original engine & never been opened up. Non-OEM handlebars, exhaust (fishtails) & derby/points covers. All else OEM. Have put many 000´s of Km´s on her since then with no major problems. 2 batteries, 1 voltage regulator (may have been my fault ´cause I boosted it when battery died). Regular oil changes & gets great mileage. Low of around 32mpg (Imp) pulling homemade trailer at high speed (70-75mph) out West. High of 75.9mpg (Imp) taking it easy riding solo & enjoying the view (50-55mph). Ride it all year round (yes, even in winter) & starts good/runs good all the time. May be developing problem with valve guide seals ´cause start getting deposits on plugs, especially with summer high speed riding.
