one great ride

I had an 84 FXSB shovel early model kick start. I had some carb problems that resembled electrical problems that took a while to diagnose. However I worked on it for hours and got it running beautifully. I rode the s**t out of this bike including trips to sturgis and laconia. It had a true harley sound and I had many compliments from bikers from everywhere. This was not a bike for the lighthearted weekend warrior. It rattled most fillings out of my mouth and required constant wrenching after long rides. But it was all worth it when I kicked that bike over and heard the potato masher swing into gear.
This is Harley at its best. An old school dream.
It is one great ride.
