I have owned a 1200 Madura since 1991. I own my second one now (thanks to a drunk driver).

They are very fast and reliable. However with one exception, if you use all the available horsepower, the rear spokes will stretch and need to be replaced at about 10,000 miles. I had custom (heavier) spokes made and laced into the rear end.

I dont recommend this bike for guys under 30 years old.
