Excess fuel consumption

My Harley dealership is 31 miles away. I use premium gas only. Max speed limit is 65. I filled up with premium gas. Used over a half tank of gas going 31 miles to dealership. What could be the cause of so much gas used. Bike has 3000 miles and I can’t smell gas
