| I own a 1986 wide glide & am trying to get her registered The story so far I purchased the bike site unseen in Iowa Then moved her to los angles in the company I am told of a fueler Harley by truck See then had a nice two week vacation with her new found traveling companions See was loaded into a container and transported to Australia where see arrived in surfers paradise Brisbane She was again loaded in another truck in the company of several other bikes one in particular vintage a single geared speedway bike She finally made it to Sydney & my home she’s seen more of the world than I have She was a little sick upon arrival as she did not like our fuel so a Quick tank flush was in order & a Tune she soon recovered That’s when the painful task of getting Her New South Wales compliant began She got throw the site inspection No problem This has taken 9 months so far My anal #### mechanic cannot find or is unwilling to except the last 2 things that as hard as I try to find and already know He will not except unless it is on official HD paperwork or letter head Or origanal owners manual I have the service manual and several fact sheets that I have found on the net but they failed also What the pest needs to know is (1) weight of bike (2) KW or killer watts of bike She is a 1986 Wide glide If you can help me with my little problem I would be most grateful Theirs only so many laps of the block a bloke can do Cheers & I look forward to your response Jon May Sydney Australia |
