Make it a sealed unit. You are right about the clutch fibers getting into the engine. Your engine oil doesn´t get dirty as fast. On my 1980 FXWG I made primary a sealed unit. While I had it took apart on the inner primary cover I welded the hole shut for the primary chain oiler drip tube and the oil return hole. |
