According to a book called "Motorcycle Color History - Harley-Davidson Shovelhead" (ISBN:0760301646)there were 6045 FXWG´s built in 1980, it´s first year. I bought one a year ago here in Switzerland and am rebuilding it, hopefully ready in spring. Tom
