I have been the third owner of a 1982 FXWG Harley for 11 years. In that time I have TOTALLY rebuilt, improved, and re-engineered this bike. When this thing was originally manufactured it was made to leak all the fluids, vibrate apart, break down, and run like a total slug [sorry Harley purists]. No wonder H.D. practically went out of business. Today this bike will dependably outrun any factory H.D. I have done this. It will start and ride as nice as any bike out there. Ihave spent HUNDREDS of hours massaging, refitting, re engineering and detailing virtually every nut and bolt on that thing. It consistantly draws a croud wherever I go. This is the bike I originally had in my minds eye 11 years ago. I now ride with pride every mile. Quite possibly THE nicest 82 FXWG in existance!
