I bougth the bike 2 years ago and yes I had some starter problems in the past. But I hope their gone now this winter I have replaced all wiring, rele, solenoid, starter clutch and had the actuating arm weldet.I had the starter out last sommer and had it rebuild. When i bougth the bike it was very hard to start.I have replaced a few parts in ignition as well. I also added a ground strap to the starter. So for the moment it looks quit good, just took the bike out 14 days a go and it havenĀ“t let me down yet.My engine are standard Evo with a S&S super E.But the reason for my question was that I was curios if somebody had tried it out.I am agree with you that if every thing else work the stock starter should do the job.
