| a couple years ago my dad past away and left me his bike. an 88 flhtca. im 33 and i remember riding on the back of it on his maiden voyage the day he got it from the dealer. this bike has more value then anything i had ever owned. selling it isnt something i could ever concider. before he past away he was sick for 3 years and had not rode it, so it sat covered in his back yard till he past. so ive had it for a few years and i want to get on her. but she needs some love with some parts that never got put on it doesnt seem to need a wholle lot of work, throttle cable and brake cable i allready have and some minor ware and tare from sitting. the bike is stored. i am hoping to get her fixed up this summer and get it going but time and money are against me. i will ride it. any advice to what things i should look out for? thanks Dave |
