I just purchased a 2006 FLHTCUI (on 4/1/08)from a private owner. That seller bought the bike factory new in May 2006. The seller gave me the key fob and the ´owners manual´; everything works. The only thing that the owners manual mentions is that a ´siren´ is optional on the bike...mine does not have a siren. The blinkers do the talkin´.
If you will buy an owners manual, it tells you how to set the security system without using a key fob. Is there a chance that your fob battery is dead? The bike in 2006 came stock with a security system according to the owners manual.
