I´ve owned eight bikes over the last 25 years. My last was a Goldwing 1500 I sold to buy an ´05 Ultra. I was impressed with the better handling (it handles like a bike much smaller and lighter than the GW) and comfortable seat, but disappointed with the engine power. My wife & I tour long distance, with a combined weight of about 375. After a couple months, I had the 95 c.i. big bore kit, performance mufflers, and backrest installed. Much better, but I agree that more power on this bike should be standard. However, it has been absolutely without problems, with about 9K miles on the odometer. Its a great ride!
