I too own a Cobalt Blue and Silver 88 FLHS and personally put every mile on the odometer since it left the showroom floor in Aug 1988. I would not trade it for any bike. Harleys are a lot like women, they get better with a few miles on them. It has been virtually trouble free except for a bad voltage regulator and occasional gaskets that leaked. I recently had the engine re-ringed and painted flat black and the Primary Cover & Inspection Covers, Rocker Boxes, Distributer Cover and Transmission Side Cover chromed. I also recently replaced the original windshield which carried many scars from car & truck-flung stones. She may not be the fanciest lady at the ball but she is the one I´ll be going home with. Fair winds and following seas and keep the shiny side up.
